Catch Up Wednesday of the Radiothon

September 8, 2010

From Dave Palmer with GRN:

We wish a very Happy Birthday to our Blessed Mother Mary today!

Thanks to the 127 of you who called in yesterday during the first day of our Fall Radiothon to help support Catholic Radio in North Texas.  The donations yesterday totaled $44,279. While this sounds like a big number, we were $10,000 off our totals from the first day of the Spring Radiothon. Calls yesterday were off by about 50 compared to the first day of the Spring Radiothon.

All this means that we have some catching up to do today for the second day of the Radiothon.  We’re hoping to have a better day today so that we can make up some of the lost ground from yesterday.

If you have not already done so, please call 800-476-3311 today to make as big a donation as possible to help keep the Voice of Truth on the air across North Texas.

And finally and most importantly, please pray for us today. Ask Our Lady on her birthday to interceded for us and inspire many to call in to support the Radiothon.

We are very grateful for your support.  KATH 910 AM is totally listener-supported and can only remain on the air with the support of our listeners.

God bless you and your family,

Dave Palmer
