St Francis; Frisco, TX:
We are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of our new church on Saturday, September 3rd, at 8:30 a.m. The Most Reverend Kevin J. Farrell, D.D., Bishop of Dallas will officiate.

All parishioners are invited to participate in this momentous event. Please bring lawn chairs along with your shovel to participate in the groundbreaking of our new faith home.

Due to the power outage, Fr. Larry’s talk on August 30 will be postponed until September 6. Below is an updated schedule of the talks Fr. Larry will be presenting in the Great Hall at 7:00 pm.

Sep 6 - The Liturgy of the Word
Sep 13 - The Liturgy of the Eucharist

We welcome all parishioners and Frisco residents to join us, Saturday September 10th , from 1-3 pm, as we remember those who fell on 9/11/2001. We especially invite anyone who is currently serving or has served in the Armed Forces &/or a is a current member of a first response organization (Police, Fire, EMT) to please join us for a 10th Anniversary Memorial, as we want to honor our service men and women.

v Event is Non-Denominational and is for the whole family.

v We want to encourage servicemen and women to wear their uniform.

v If you have a unit, company, corps or service branch flag and are willing to have it presented and posted, please let us know.

v Also looking for a few snapshots of you or a loved one in service.

BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND AT ST FRANCIS (Frisco) we will begin using the revised Gloria. ARRIVE EARLY as we will rehearse before Mass. YES, we will be singing the revised Gloria DURING Mass as well!

St. Vincent de Paul Frisco conference at St. Francis of Assisi just completed their first golf tournament raising over $9,000 to help the needy in the Frisco and neighboring communities.
