St. Francis Catholic Church in Sherwood, Oregon is hiring a part-time Youth Minister. This position would coordinate and lead the middle, high and confirmation programs. Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated experience in developing and leading a youth ministry program or equivalent degree/ experience. Applicants need to have a solid understanding of youth culture; ability to interact with youth and parents; be able to recruit, train and retain volunteers & catechists; active member of a Catholic faith community with a strong knowledge of Catholic teaching. Additionally applicants should have strong organizational & communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with pastoral staff; willingness to work weekends; and experienced in use of computers and technology. The position is salaried with full benefits and a salary commensurate with experience.
