(Gospel) Jesus even had the guts to correct Moses; or let’s say, correct the things that had gone awry in the Old Testament under Moses’ direction.
This is extremely important to remember. Jesus is the meaning behind the Old Testament, and only he provides the true interpretation of Scripture.
I suppose this is easy for us to apply, since most of us don’t hold fast to Jewish rituals. Yet, how often do we hold fast to principles that do not come from Christ?
- That might be good for you, but don’t force your views on me.
- It’s a free county, I can do whatever I want, as long as I don’t “bother” anyone.
- You might believe, but keep it to yourself please.
We would do well to ask ourselves more often: “What would Jesus say?”
