The webmaster serves to maintain and enhance the school’s website using advanced web design and programming and provides website technical support, guidance, education and training. This position creates user-friendly web applications, while consulting closely with campus constituencies, determining functional and technical specifications of web projects and provides analysis, design, guidance, and technical support.

Minimum Qualifications:
•2 + years related experience
•Bachelor’s degree in related field
•Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, FTP, HTTP, Photoshop and Illustrator; knowledge of Adobe Flash, Premier and/or After Effects preferred
•Working knowledge of scripting language (PHP)
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Excellent written and spoken communication skills
•Excellent organization, time management and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
•Ability to analyze web architecture and make recommendations for improvement

Desired Knowledge and Abilities:
•General understanding of back-end programming in PHP and ASP is a plus
•Understanding of SQL database structure and functionality
•Background in graphic design a plus
•Experience or strong interest in K-12 public/private education (0)
