VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF HISTORY

Belmont Abbey College invites applications for a one semester replacement position as Visiting Assistant Professor for the Spring of 2015. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching three sections of the second half of the Western Civilization survey course that is part of the college’s core curriculum. The applicant should also have the qualifications to teach one upper-level course in ancient history.
Ph.D. must be in hand by January 1, 2015, the time of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, a willingness to be active in service to the college and community, and support for the college’s mission and vision.
