Mobile Clinic Ultrasound Tech
Part Time Position 25 – 30 hours a week


• Ultrasound tech experience on multiple machines and modalities (2D, 3D)
• Education: Graduate of accredited Ultrasound program required, BLS certification required
• One year Ultrasound experience preferred
• Certification/Licenses: Registry in Ultrasound by ARDMS or registry eligible in Abdominal or OB/GYN required. Must pass registery within 12 months of hire date
• Excellent Driving Record and maintenance of current Auto Insurance
• Willing to be trained to drive 29 foot Recreational Vehicle
• Highly organized, able to operate independently
• Compassionate, experience in counseling a plus
• Attention to detail – ability to perform accurate client data entry, assist with oversight of volunteers’ work, follow procedures and provide accurate record keeping
• Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
• Has a sincere desire to reach out to abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded women
• Conformity with the teaching of the Catholic Church in regard to morality, chastity, abstinence, contraception, marriage, and abortion
• Expresses full agreement with corporation’s Statement of Principle, Mission Statement, Articles of Incorporation, and By-laws
• Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion


• Provides pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, advocacy, and operational activities for Mobile Clinic
• Provides tours of Clinic and drives the Mobile Clinic
• Reports to Clinic Director for operations and Medical Manager for medical services
• Assists with Medical Operations for Mobile Clinic
• Works with Medical Manager to ensure adherence to all Medical Policies & Procedures

Medical Care:
• Assesses patient care needs and makes medical judgments that reflect safe medical practices
• Ensures accuracy of records and care plans for clients seen on the Mobile Clinic
• Provides education for patient to develop an understanding of their health condition
• Oversees patient follow-up per patient discharge summary and standard procedures

Personal Development:
• Maintains professional license and certifications
• Increases knowledge of obstetrical and gynecological care and women’s health issues
• Attends conferences or classes that offer professional training and information pertinent to the clinic’s practices

Mobile Unit Operation:
• Assists with supervision of Team Mobile volunteers and use of Mobile Unit
• Coordinates with Medical Manager and Clinic staff on needs of the Mobile Clinic
• Administers Pregnancy Tests and Ultrasounds (external and transvaginal)
• Provides Client Counseling as needed (must be able to take senior counselor role with volunteer counselors and give appropriate counseling while in ultrasound testing as necessary)
• Assists with coordination of Mobile Unit Location Schedule, Volunteer Schedule, Site Parking, and permits
• Assists with coordination with other Clinics Mobile unit schedules to remove duplication of effort
• Assists with maintaining maintenance records for ultrasound equipment and Mobile Unit vehicle
• Assists in maintaining Mobile Unit vehicle re: cleanliness, medical and office supplies (0)
