WORK AREA: 135 East Division St. River Falls, WI 54022, some occasional travel to workshops, meetings and other functions out of town.

DESCRIPTION: The Teacher as a faith-filled person willingly responds to the gospel challenge of Jesus Christ, and To Teach As Jesus Did, that is, to spread the gospel message, to build community, and to be of service to others. Teachers prepare their students’ minds, hearts and hands to live wisely and generously in a technologically complex and inter-dependent world.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The teacher is a full-time or part-time position. A classroom in a comfortable environment with a moderate noise level is provided, along with appropriate curriculum and instructional aides. This person will work in full cooperation with the principal, colleagues, support staff and pastor. While performing the duties of this job, the teacher works in outside as well as inside weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS: The Teacher must have the appropriate academic degree for her/his assignment as well as appropriate State of Wisconsin Certification. A Basic Certificate in religion is required with the understanding that teachers of religion will continue to work to obtain Advanced Certification in religion. Six academic semester credits every five years or for teachers licensed after August 2004, the required PDP plan in his/her teaching area are required.
