National Catholic organization seeks highly organized and detail oriented Staff Assistant to process donations and provide broad national collection marketing support. The Staff Assistant position will support the Assistant Director of Promotions in all aspects of donor services, marketing material review and editing, and provide general administrative support. Primary responsibilities include maintaining fundraising data in donor and information management systems, communicating with various audiences, providing customer service, and performing administrative tasks.
The Staff Assistant will process gifts and he/she will facilitate the mailing and cataloging of correspondence, invoices, deposits, and payments. The staff assistant will coordinate marketing cycles and products, draft marketing text for digital and print, process business expense reports, and will provide customer support for constituencies internal and external to the Office of National Collections by fielding telephone inquiries and assisting diocesan staff as needed. The Staff Assistant will also be involved in streamlining promotions activities and seeking new opportunities to encourage collections efficiencies.
H.S. Diploma and 2 years of college coursework or a combination of related work experience and education; undergraduate degree preferred in Communications, Business Administration, Information Technology, Development, Advertising, Marketing, or Accounting with 2-3 years of related experience in fund raising, communications, or administration required. Familiarity with Catholic Church teachings (and structure) and Spanish language proficiency preferred. Interested candidates should send cover letter and resume to:
