Education: Middle/High School, FT Employee
St. Monica Catholic High School (Santa Monica, CA)

The ideal candidate will be able to teach upper level Spanish, including AP Spanish Language, and be comfortable teaching additional levels of the Spanish language. The instructor will effectively collaborate with colleagues to integrate department goals with school-wide initiatives such as the school’s Mac-based 1-1 laptop program. The position may also have the opportunity for leadership as the Foreign Language Department Chair.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or Education / Liberal Arts; 3 or more years teaching experience (preferred); Excellent planning, teaching, and assessment skills; Knowledge of current trends in foreign language education; Experience using instructional technology; An ability to convey enthusiasm for the subject of Spanish; Personal ability to speak and write Spanish

Desirable qualities: Credential in Foreign Language Instruction and/or MA in Education; Catholic high school teaching experience (228)
