The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.
Sarah Palin after the Supreme Court ruling upholding ObamaCare
As the above video indicates, back in 2009 when Sarah Palin predicted that ObamaCare would end up in death panels for the elderly and for “defective” children like her son Trig, she was widely derided by
the unpaid Obama press agents the Mainstream Media. News from Great Britain tells us just how prescient Palin was.
Go here to the Daily Mail to read the appalling rest. None of this should come as a surprise. The womb to tomb welfare states, the ultimate goal of Socialists here and around the globe, is an impossibility. There simply is not enough money to do this long-term, especially with shrinking populations and the negative impact on economies that socialist policies usually produce. When that occurs cuts in services must be made, and those who are cut are almost always the most innocent and vulnerable among us. It is no accident, as the Marxists used to say, that most Socialists are enamored of abortion and euthanasia. In their Brave New World their will be no superstitious nonsense about life being sacred. It is all about power, and if the innocent must die in order for the welfare state to live, that is a small price to pay. Churchill was more on target than he knew when he proclaimed: “There is not one single social or economic principle or concept in the philosophy of the Russian Bolshevik, which has not been realised, carried into action, and enshrined in immutable laws a million years ago by the White Ant.” Socialism transforms children of a loving God into subjects of a very unloving State.
