Felician Services, Inc., a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, seeks a Senior Ministry Advisor. The Senior Ministry Advisor has oversight responsibility for assigned ministries as determined by the President.
Felician-sponsored ministries include approximately 30 free standing (non-system based) healthcare (long term care, assisted living, and hospice), education (Montessori, secondary and college) and social service ministries located in North America.
Oversight responsibilities include providing direction and serving as a resource to site Administrators. The Senior Ministry Advisor, with support from the Corporate Services Leadership Team, assures the integrity of the Felician reserved powers related to Mission Integration and Catholic Identity, Governance-Strategic (Board) and Organizational (leadership), Program/Service Quality, Financial Viability and Corporate Responsibility at the Sponsored Ministries.
The Senior Ministry Advisor represents and serves the Felician Sisters as the corporate member on site Boards of Directors. The Senior Ministry Advisor establishes effective relationships with site Boards, site Administrators, and site Mission Leaders to accomplish these responsibilities.
Master’s Degree in a related field
A minimum of 10 years of well documented experience in area of expertise to include progressively more responsible positions in administrative and supervisory capacities
Strong business knowledge including strategic planning, budgeting and operations
Strong knowledge of the relationship of governance and operational roles in a corporate structure and sponsored ministries.

Must be candid, honest, and direct and project the highest personal integrity to foster trust in and outside the ministries.
Must be a great communicator, with the ability to communicate clearly and well with those who lead and work in the ministries and those served by them.
Must have excellent sense of urgency, high level of energy, a tremendous work ethic and equally strong common sense, overall judgment and tact.
Ability to monitor, assess, alert and make recommendations to Felician Services leadership regarding trends, developments and breakthroughs that potentially impact the ministries and/or need a response
Deals effectively with conflict and finds ways to resolve conflicts that preserve the dignity of those involved. Gives evidence of a high degree of sensitivity to persons and issues
Strong technical skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Working comfort with distance communication (e.g. Skype, WebEx, etc.)
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
