RESOURCE TEACHER
Education: Elementary, FT Employee
Rhodora J. Donahue Academy (Ave Maria, FL)
The Donahue Academy is seeking a full time Resource Teacher beginning July 1, 2013.
The instructor will assist students who may be struggling in classes as well as assist teachers with methods to better meet the needs of all students. Duties will include one-on-one tutoring work with students, as well as designing, implementing and following up on an Academic Intervention Plan to making test accommodations, such as reading and dictating tests. Ordering, administering, and evaluating standardized testing materials, such as PSAT and IOWA Test of Basic Skills. Communicating, implementing, and following up on services provided by federal programs such as Title One Part C (assistance for migrant families). Depending on needs, the position may include several periods of regular classroom instruction as well.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Valid Teacher Certification in any exceptional student education field.
3. Faithful and practicing Catholic
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s degree.
2. Classroom teaching experience
3. Experience in a like position. (80)
