St. John’s University Department of Campus Ministry seeks a candidate for the position of Residence Campus Minister for Social Justice. The position requires all applicants to have a strong academic and pastoral background in the facilitation of spiritual development and direction with young adults. This position will seek a candidate with strong capacities to develop and lead a variety of social justice awareness activities. Abilities to collaborate with internal and external groups, help students develop the connection to faith & justice and moderate related programming are essential. The Campus Minister will live and work in residential housing, while coordinating and directing an intentional faith-based, living-learning community. Strong lived experience of Roman Catholic faith and traditions. Master’s degree in Theology or related field preferred.
