Technology, FT Employee
Diocese of Arlington (Arlington, VA)
The IS Department of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington is looking for a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day management of assigned IS projects — developing project plans; allocating staff resources; and coordinating project activities among offices/departments, consultants and third-party vendors. Projects on the horizon include implementation of a new student information system, an upgrade/expansion of our disaster recovery site, a new web content management system and an upgrade to our contact relationship management system.
The successful candidate will be eager to lead complex, challenging projects involving cutting edge technologies; enthusiastic about exposure to new approaches and practices not always available in larger, more pressure-packed environments; committed to continuous learning; and have 4 to 6 years’ IS project management experience, preferably in a not-for-profit organization with 50 to 500 employees. A BA in MIS or a business-related major and a CAPM are required, a PMP is preferred.
Located at Glebe Road and Route 50 in Arlington, the diocese offers competitive pay, benefits and tuition reimbursement; work-life balance; and co-workers who share a common purpose.
Applicants should email a letter of interest, resume and salary requirements to [email protected] Put Project Manager in the subject line. (361)
