The Office of Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth (LMFLY) has an opening for a Program Specialist. This position provides staff assistance to the Bishops’ Subcommittee for the Promotion and Defense of Marriage. This includes working as directed by the Subcommittee on issues involving the Defense of Marriage on all catechetical and educational levels. Undertakes projects and activities of the Subcommittee that includes for example, the Marriage: Unique for a Reason initiative, related website, blog, and social media. Monitors and drafts correspondence at the direction of the Subcommittee under the supervision of the Associate Director.
Graduate Degree in Theology with 3 years of related experience. Knowledge of Spanish would be beneficial.
