The Pontifical Mission Societies in the Diocese of Arlington is seeking a full-time Program Assistant to assist with promoting our mandate to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations ” Mt 28:19. The Missionary Childhood Association (MCA), and the Propagation of the Faith are two of these societies active in the diocese. This mandate is promoted within our schools, homeschools, CCD programs, churches, and parish organizations to advance the work of the missions worldwide.
Responsibilities include updating the Arlingtonmissions.org webpage (html & CSS), facebook, and developing e-blasts thru Constant Contact for teachers. Tasks include writing, editing, publishing and promoting ‘mission’. Further tasks for the MCA include: designing and giving school & parish presentations; attending educational conferences, events, and meetings; researching articles and resources on ‘mission’; and admin tasks with prompt data entry.
Applicant should be highly organized and possess a background in motivating children, social networking, communications, MS Office, and resource research.
