SEARCHING FOR A PRINCIPAL TO CALL OUR OWN
Enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is expected to be 90 students. We are small but growing; anticipated growth is expected to reach 120 students over the next three years. Our children come from thirteen surrounding New Hampshire towns as well as one in northern Massachusetts. The administration, faculty, and staff of St. Patrick School work in partnership with parents and volunteers to encourage each student to maximize his or her unique gifts and talents while learning and growing as scholars and caring citizens of the world community. Special attention is given to fostering each child’s faith, giving each one tools to help on their faith journey. Our children know what Adoration is because they participate, what a May crowning procession is because they initiate it, and what it means to be “God’s Kid”, their Mass anthem.

• Under the direction and oversight of the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Manchester, the search process for St Patrick School’s new principal is being conducted. • An eight-member search committee has been formed locally, composed of alumni/ae, clergy, St. Patrick School board members, past and current parents, and past and current faculty of other schools in the area.
The successful candidate will be approved by the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Manchester before being interviewed by some or all of the search committee.
The committee has established the following criteria for the position. The successful candidate must:
First of all, meet the standards as set by the Diocese of Manchester
Be an actively practicing Catholic involved in your home parish
Have a Masters in Administration/Leadership or Education
Have at least 5 years active experience as an educator
Complete and submit the Administrator Application with a resume and cover letter
Possess communication skills that foster and support open & frequent dialogue between staff, faculty, and parents.
Demonstrate managerial abilities that include: ability to budget effectively, manage conflict affirmatively, negotiate contracts collaboratively.
Have demonstrated a willingness to network both within and outside of the local community professional organizations, such as the Rotary Club and Chambers of Commerce, and others that will be beneficial to the school’s continued growth.
Be willing to learn or have prior knowledge of the latest technology and software that will enhance the school’s ability to grow and have at least a nodding acquaintance with social media tech to enhance the school’s presence in cyberspace.
Last but hardly least, not only honor our current Catholic traditions/culture, but be willing to add to it, building on the foundation already in place. (239)
