Description
The Donahue Academy is seeking a full time principal beginning July 1, 2013. The principal will oversee all day to day operational functions of the school and work with and under a president who oversees external functions.
The principal should be able to build upon young but firm traditions of excellence and be able to assist the school in a time of continued growth and expansion. The principal must have a vibrant and orthodox Catholic faith which is deeply held and practiced and a strong understanding of classical education. The candidate must also understand and support the mission of both the Academy and the broader Ave Maria/Ave Maria University project.
Masters degree or higher required. The applicant must have at least 3 years experience leading in a Catholic setting or in a classical school. K-12 leadership experience preferred. Qualified applicants must be able to obtain a Florida Administrative Credential. The candidate must be willing to obtain Catechist certification.
