Sacred Heart Parish announces the available position of President of Norfolk Catholic School (NCS), an apostolate of Catholic education. We are seeking a candidate with visionary leadership skills and the ability to influence positive change to help form disciples of Jesus within the Catholic Church.
NORFOLK CATHOLIC SCHOOL is an apostolate of the Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk, NE. NCS is a PreK-12 educational institution divided into an elementary school (PreK-6) and a secondary school (7-12), each with a principal. With the revision of our governance structure, we are seeking a President who would serve in the capacity of chief executive officer. The President reports to the pastor of Sacred Heart Parish and the NCS Board.
Candidate must be an active Catholic in practical communion with the Church, living a life of stewardship and a lifestyle consistent with Catholic values. Candidates must have a demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education for the New Evangelization. Candidate must have a Master’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in administrative and supervisory experience at the PreK-12 level or equivalent Executive level experience in a business or professional setting. An effective combination of education and experience may also be considered. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a positive track record with enrollment management, academic culture, athletic/extra-curricular programs, board relationships, school finances and advancement. The president will serve as the chief fund-raiser for the school, and must be a passionate evangelical leader representing the school within in the community.
