PRESCHOOL TEACHER AND DIRECTOR

Level: Preschool (4 year olds)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early elementary education, three years of teaching experience preferred. Director Qualified, preferred, or a willingness to complete qualifications to be Director Qualified by the end of the first year of employment. Please call for more information.
The primary responsibility of this teaching position is educating students in our 4 year old program (two classes, both of which meet for three hours at a time, three days a week). During this year of education, students receive a foundation in early literacy, basic mathematical understanding, as well as guidance in cognitive and conceptual growth. The teacher works closely with the teacher of the 3-year old program, the classroom aide, as well as duly preparing children for the next year through collaboration by the kindergarten teachers.
The role of this teacher would also be to gradually assume the role of Director. Please call for more information about the role of Director.
