PREARRANGEMENT REGIONAL MANAGER
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced, highly motivated candidate to supervise the prearrangements counselor sales staff at our Catholic Cemeteries. You will provide oversight and supervision of staff at multiple locations ensuring consistent sales through planning and management of sales personnel; identifying objectives, strategies and action plans for achieving sales targets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
•Management of prearrangement counselors and regular reports to the prearrangement director.
•Achieving sales targets with quality of sales production.
•Developing a quality professional sales team that follows the teachings of the Catholic Church.
•Properly managing all leads, sales activities and sales results; creating and maintaining high standards of ethics, quality and service in all areas of responsibility.
•Creating a productive environment by consistent supervision, development and motivation of staff including regular meetings and setting work schedules.
•Conducting regular sales/training meetings – covering such items as, sales techniques, sales achievements, new policies, products contract or sales goals, or achievements, etc.
•Monitoring each counselor’s sales results and skill set development.
•Creating individual improvement plans including personalized training, mentoring and coaching.
•Serve as the liaison between the sales team and related departments.
•Promoting cooperation and teambuilding with all cemetery departments.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent business or sales experience equivalent.
•Minimum of three years’ experience in direct sales management with consistent sales performance.
•History of positive leadership, good judgment and management skills.
•History of recruiting, hiring and training sales and maintaining sales team members.
•History of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
•Experience in all aspects of the sales cycle.
•Experience in customer service and conflict resolution.
•Experience in developing action plans and activity tracking systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Active member of a Roman Catholic faith community.
•Self-starter, flexible, challenge oriented and personable.
•Excellent motivation and training skills including maintaining effective working relationships.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and create a team atmosphere.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
•Availability and willingness to travel daily within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles area, occasional overnight stay may be required.
