The Poverty Education and Outreach Manager provides education and outreach on the mission and activities of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), on the Catholic Church’s social teaching and on the reality of poverty in the United States. Develops and maintains relationships with CCHD grant staff and diocesan directors. Has a major role in orientation, training and support for CCHD diocesan directors. Develops educational resources and tools, including web-based, distance-learning and social media resources, as appropriate to accomplish the tasks above, often in collaboration with internal and/or external organizational partners. Supports other education and outreach initiatives of the Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development. Bachelor’s Degree required/ MA preferred; Theology, Social Work, or related field with 5-6 years of experience in national, diocesan or parish social ministry, community organizing, education, social work, or related field. Spanish desirable. (203)
