Holy Family Catholic School, Seattle ~ PreK-8:
The Archdiocese of Seattle is accepting applications for Principal of Holy Family Catholic School, in Seattle, Washington for the 2013-2014 school year. Holy Family School is a small school with a lively and diverse multi-cultural student population. We began implementing a Dual Language (English/Spanish) curriculum this year. The school recently celebrated its 85th year! The student body currently consists of 177 culturally diverse students.

Expectations:
As principal, you will lead 20 teachers and staff in providing a high quality academic and religious education as well as an exciting experience for the students and families of the school. We are seeking a strong Catholic leader who can provide: a strong Catholic identity; emphasize leadership and teamwork; stimulate academic excellence; encourage students to reach for the highest academic and spiritual achievements; and maintain a school culture firmly grounded in Catholic beliefs, morals, and values. You will also be the primary liaison to the parish community with the responsibility of encouraging the broader community in celebrations and building traditions, and in celebrating the good news of Catholic education!

Requirements:
You must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a desire to serve Christ and His Church. You should have achieved proficiency in all aspects of running a school including: budgeting, assisting in planning curriculum for lower and middle school grade levels; discipline; managing personnel. Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required. A M. Ed. is desired; however sufficient experience may substitute. A strong personal Catholic faith is a must.
