Good for this mom for taking an interest in her child’s schoolwork and paying attention to the content and not just the grade. I read through most of my sons tests and homework, thankfully he’s still in elementary school, but we can’t take it forgranted what they are teaching these days at any level. Some schools are pushing acceptance of homosexuality, gender disorders, pedophilia and other controversial social issues, including teaching about anal and oral sex to our kids by the time they enter kindergarten. However, this new controversial CSCOPE curriculum brings a whole new issue to the forefront by revising history and teaching our children misleading facts about Islam and the United States role in past events including September 11 and the Boston Tea Party, as described below.

“Texas mom Kara Sands is furious about a 9/11 terrorism question on her fifth grade son’s test. The question which provoked anger from the Corpus Christi mother appears to suggest America is partially to blame for the terrorist attacks on September 11.
The photo of her son’s test that was posted on Facebook has now gone viral. The test asking why the 9/11 attacks occurred was used at the Flour Bluff Intermediate School. The terrorism test material reportedly coincided with information in a video the class had watched.”
“I’m not going to justify radical terrorists by saying we did anything to deserve that. Over 3,000 people died.”

According to KrisTV, Flour Bluff officials say Sands is the only parent to complain about the test specifically, but her post on facebook now has 1,662 likes.
Several parents plan to meet next week and Sands says school board members Shirley Thornton and Wade Chapman have requested the concerns be brought up in the next school board meeting. The agenda for the March 28th meeting is not yet posted to confirm the item.
Sands says parents need to get involved.
“When I teach my children that you have to work hard and you have to earn a living and they go to school and learn something different I absolutely take issue with that,” Sands said.
