Nuncio Assigned for Canada

Archbishop Luigi Bonazzi has been appointed apostolic nuncio to Canada. The 65-year-old Italian-born prelate had been serving as nuncio to Lithuania, Estonia and Lativa.
The post of nuncio to Canada was left vacant in September of this year, when Archbishop Pedro López Quintana resigned.
