Nigerian Cardinal Criticizes New Health Legislation

The Catholic Church in Nigeria has criticised new health legislation, saying some sections of the bill were defective and unfavourable to human life. Cardinal John Onaiyekan, Archbishop of Abuja, advised President Goodluck Jonathan not to sign the National Health bill into law until these sections were revised.
