Sad situation, unfortunately he was out doing something he shouldn’t have been doing after being grounded by his parents for doing something he shouldn’t have been doing and this is the sad result. He could have been killed in a drunk driving accident, but instead he was mistaken for a burglar after climbing into the window of the wrong home. The family of Caleb forgives them and understands they were protecting their family, especially after firing a warning shot and Caleb continued walking down the halls of the home without responding.
