NANNY AND PRIVATE TUTOR
Education: Elementary, FT Employee
MorningStar (De Pere, WI)
Do you aspire to be a teacher or homeschool your own kids some day? Are you fun and energetic? Do you enjoy playing and working with children? Would you like to help children grow to know and love our Lord? Would you like to gain valuable experience while helping to shape and form little hearts and minds? If you answered yes, then we have a great opportunity for you!!
Dad is an IT manager for a Madison based company, Mom is a Certified Nurse Midwife who is part of a practice in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for help with the kids and basic things around the house (cooking, shopping, cleaning, etc.) and helping with The home schooling of the kids using a very well defined purchased curriculum. The curriculum is a classical Catholic, so if you went to a Classical Catholic university such as WCC, UD, TAC, Christendom, etc, it would be preferred.
We will be using the Kolbe curriculum, so things are well laid out but it would be helpful to have exposure to the materials and be a well formed Catholic.
The oldest two kids will be using an online program so you will not have to directly school them, but will end to help marshal and guide them.
We would love to find someone that we can bring into our home and consider an extension of our family. Someone that is going to be almost like a big sister or the favorite aunt for our kids. Is that you? We’d love to hear you and your vision for what it would be like to be a nanny to our kids!
Currently, we have an AuPair living with us, and it’s been a good year and a half with her. We thought that we’d look for someone domestically this time as our situation has changed with mom going back to work and our relocation.
Based on experience, I think you’ll find that our position will be a pretty laid back one if you have the ability to keep things around you organized. The kids are well behaved and disciplined (not perfect, but you’ll quickly see the difference when compared to most other kids who have been raised in a more secular household). Mom will be home at least one day a week and dad plans to work from home a day or two a week. The kids are pretty well behaved and are expected to help with all the chores.
Our goal is to make sure our nanny is comfortable. She she’s not, she won’t be able to perform at the level we need her to. We offer a competitive compensation package which includes room and board along with some creative perks to increase it’s value. You will have your own room and private space.
We have lots more to tell you and some we are figuring out since we are still in transition and will depend on who we hire. Reach out and tell us about yourself!!
