Saint Luke Productions, a 501(c)(3) corporation, has an immediate opening in our Media Department for someone with a passion for creativity and all things technical, including film and sound production, graphic and web design, and more! This is an exciting and very dynamic position for someone who loves to wear many hats and be a part of a small, close-knit team. We are a Catholic ministry, which for 32 years has been dedicated to renewing and evangelizing the culture through theatre and the media. YOU ARE A PERSON WHO LOVES:
• Engaging in the creative process and designing beautiful art in all forms of media
• Producing film projects, including lighting, camera work, editing, post-production, and DVD authoring
• Producing audio works, including recording, editing, and post-production
• Graphic design in many forms: company newsletters, web graphics, PR materials, product artwork, and more
• Web outreach by preparing and posting content (we have a Drupal based CMS website)
• Managing social networking outreach and creating campaigns on Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and others
• Preparing e-Newsletters for distribution of projects and company news (HTML based)
• Organizing, cataloging, and archiving all digital and physical media to keep valuable resources at your fingertips
• Exploring new technologies for media production in all forms
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
• A passion for our mission
• Final Cut Studio (or equivalent software) experience required
• Strong experience with Adobe CS5 design and production suites
• Graphic design abilities, including print design and photo color correction
• Some digital audio workstation experience required
• Basic web and HTML programming abilities
• Film and photography experience preferred, including camera work and lighting experience
• Mac aptitude preferred
• Effective writing skills and the ability to storyboard preferred
• Understanding and love of technology, a fast learner and desire to learn
• Highly motivated and organized
Sample of Upcoming Media Projects:
• Develop all media for new live production: Faustina (this is a large scale project!)
• Oversee continued efforts with social networking
• Re-master projects from old to new formats
• Help create projects for television, radio, and web
• Create digital products to sell through Saint Luke Productions online store
