Reporting to and working directly with the Chief Development Officer, the Manager of Resource Development directs the day to day efforts of the Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal which secures revenue to support the mission and ministries of the Diocese of Joliet. This position also manages donor records, data collection and processing and provides guidance and support to parishes in their efforts to implement offertory enhancement and stewardship programs.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, and further training in Church related development and stewardship programs. Preference for a minimum of five years of successful, relevant fundraising/stewardship and marketing experience along with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office products and experience working with databases is also required. The candidate must be self-motivated and a Roman Catholic in good standing, along with a demonstrated commitment and active participation in the work of the Catholic Church. Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

This is a full time position with benefits. This position requires travel throughout the Diocese of Joliet that entails some evening and weekend activity. Flexibility of schedule and reliable transportation is required.
