LATIN TEACHER
Education: Middle/High School, FT Employee
Rhodora J. Donahue Academy (Ave Maria, FL)
The Donahue Academy is seeking a full time 7th-10th Latin teacher beginning July 1, 2013. Applicant will also teach a couple of sections of math or other subjects based on qualifications.
Qualified applicants must have a degree in Latin or at least 12 units of college Latin and the ability to pass the Florida Latin teacher subject exam. Applicant must be able to obtain a Florida Teaching Credential. Florida allows for online pursuit of the credential combined with full time teaching. Experience in a Catholic setting or in a classical school preferred.
The teacher must have a vibrant and orthodox Catholic faith which is deeply held and practiced and an understanding of classical education.
