IT SUPPORT MANAGER

The IT Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the everyday information technology operations of the company across two locations: Algonquin, IL and Necedah, WI. They will troubleshoot all user support issues and ensure the company’s network, VOIP phone system, and cloud-based software applications (Google Apps and NetSuite ERP) are maintained. They must be comfortable using remote tools to support users at both locations. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
•Manage all user support issues in a multi-location environment.
•Troubleshoot and maintain a Cisco-based network environment.
•Upgrade, repair, and service a Windows Small Business Server, as well as Windows XP and Windows 7 desktops and laptops.
•Configure Android and iPhone smart phones for company use.
•Manage a web-based VOIP phone system, including user setup, phone diagrams, calling trees, and voicemail configuration.
•Support the company’s SaaS solutions, including email (Google Apps) and ERP/CRM system (NetSuite).
•Assist with creating reports in the company’s NetSuite ERP database.
•Ensure the company remains in compliance with PCI standards.
•Participate and lead IT projects to ensure the company stays at the leading edge of technology.
•Consult with key decision makers to find new opportunities for growth and cost savings.
•Work directly with third party vendors to negotiate the best deals for products and services.
•Other Duties as required
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
•Some form of CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications are preferred.
•Background in supporting users in a small business across multiple locations (including remote users).
•Experience supporting Windows Small Business Server (or Windows Server), including Active Directory, Exchange, and other services.
•Knowledge of TCP/IP networking in a Cisco-based environment.
•Knowledge of Netsuite helpful
•Skilled in the management of VOIP phone systems.
•Familiar with AntiVirus and malware applications, such as Trend Micro, to protect against threats and remove known issues.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
•Experience supporting ERP/CRM applications.
•Some exposure to Google Apps is preferred.
