St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA)

St. Joseph Academy is a lay run, traditional K-12 school that teaches the Catholic Faith in accordance with the Magisterium and offers academic excellence in our curriculum. We are a member of NAPCIS. Our current enrollment is 293 students. We are seeking a High School Religion and History Teacher for our 2013-2014 school year. Candidates must be loyal, practicing Catholics who are motivated, enthusiastic and possess a deep interest in education (both spiritual and academic). We are looking for candidates that have a genuine love of the Catholic Faith and history and desire to teach others about the Faith and the central importance of understanding history from a Christocentric point of view. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively on cross curricular projects and understand the importance of writing in the study of religion and history. A strong background in the field of education (Religion/History teaching experience) is also preferred. Training and support is provided.
