President Seton Keough High School
Seton Keough High School located in Baltimore, Maryland invites applications for the position of President. Educating approximately 300 students, Seton Keough embodies the charism and the legacy of the Daughters of Charity and the School Sisters of Notre Dame as a Catholic women’s college preparatory school, Sending Forth Women of Honor. The President serves as Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for school operations including fundraising and development, human resources, finance and budget, facilities, and institutional policy. Reporting to the Archbishop of Baltimore in collaboration with the Superintendent of Catholic Schools and the School Board, the President is the leader and the spokesperson for Seton Keough High School. The President works collaboratively with the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools to assure compliance with Archdiocesan policy and Maryland state requirements. Working closely with the Principal, the School Board and other groups within the school community, the President provides leadership to ensure the institution’s Catholic Identity, strategic decision making and mission effectiveness.
The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking an experienced professional who is knowledgeable about Catholic education and has a strong background and demonstrated successful experience in administration. The ideal candidate must be a practicing Catholic and should have the credentials appropriate for a High School President (minimum of a master’s degree); five to seven years of relevant experience that includes increasing responsibility, demonstrated success in a leadership role; a comprehensive understanding of the educational market; experience in strategic planning; and the skills necessary for building important relationships for institutional advancement. The President must have impeccable integrity, exemplary oral and written communication skills, a record of proven leadership ability, and a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the Seton-Keough High School.
