Kolbe Academy-Trinity Prep (Napa, CA)
Kolbe Academy & Trinity Prep, a Catholic school in Napa, California, seeking a part-time teacher primarily for High School Math and Science, specifically some combination of Chemistry, Physics, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. Physical Science, Biology, and junior high and/or high school Latin are also possibilities. A total of 2-4 courses will be taught, depending on relevant educational background and teaching experience.
Qualified applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject and/or extensive coursework, as well as teaching experience and/or demonstrated competence in related subjects. Teaching experience is highly desirable, as is the ability to teach another subject, such as Latin. Preference will be given to those who have significant teaching experience, an active teaching credential, and/or advanced coursework (e.g., a Masters degree).
Applicants must be practicing Catholics who strive to live in accordance with the 10 Commandments and the teachings of the Church, as well as being willing to affirm and model Catholic teaching. All faculty and staff are required to pledge their fidelity to the teaching Magisterium of the Catholic Church, including to the Bishop of the Diocese of Santa Rosa.
