GIFT PROCESSOR and INFORMATION SPECIALIST

The Gift Processor and Information Specialist is responsible for three key areas within Development operations: gift processing; information systems support; and gift-related constituent service.
The GPI Specialist’s primary duty is to process all gifts to the University with outstanding accuracy. The GPI Specialist ensures gifts are recorded in Raiser’s Edge and monies accounted for according to established procedures and the norms required by Business Services.
In addition, the GPI Specialist will assist the Advancement Information Manager in supporting software platforms related to Development including Raiser’s Edge, Campus CALL, and other systems. Over time, the GPI Specialist will become knowledgeable in these systems.
The GPI Specialist is part of the Annual Giving Team and works closely with team members to build success in Annual Giving operations. The GPI Specialist will assist the team in providing exceptional service to donors, staff, faculty, and students; this will include phone calls, notes, and other duties to ensure that our constituents receive excellent, caring service.

Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience in banking, accounting, bookkeeping, or other financial-related areas is highly desirable.
The candidate must be willing to undergo a background check and be able to be bonded in the State of Ohio.
Salary: DOE with excellent benefits and tuition-waiver program.
