Front Desk Receptionist- Human Life International
Part Time Position – 22.5 hours each week
12:30PM – 5:00PM – Monday – Friday.
Must be flexible at times for varied hours.
Position Summary: You as the receptionist will be the Ambassador of Human Life International and our Tenants that lease office space from Human Life International . You are the first person the public will see if they walk through the door or the first person they will hear if they are calling. You will be the first impression of Human Life International and our Tenants. It is important for you to be Polite, and cheerful to the visitors of Human Life International and our Tenants.
Major Duties:Specific Duties:
•Answers the multi-line switchboard in a timely, customer-service friendly manner
•Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business, and directs them accordingly
•Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, etc.
•Works on various projects for staff, which may include the operation of computer terminal, calculator, copy machine, printer and fax
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in an effective manner. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have excellent customer service skills and exhibit a “can do” attitude.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally with visitors, and employees of the organization, using proper grammar without dialect or slang.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems in a positive manner and find effective solutions or know where to seek assistance.
BFOQ: This position has a bona fide occupational qualification as follows: knowledge of the Catholic Faith; its beliefs, practices, liturgy, structure, and protocol. Requires a complete understanding of the organization’s position on life issues and signing the HLI Non-Disclosure Agreement and the HLI Statement of Faith.
