Central Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Financial Services Associate in the area of Student Accounts and Financial Aid. The individual will be an instrumental part of the finance functions of the school, reporting to the VP of Finance and Human Resources. Primary responsibilities will include:
• Assisting VP of Finance in overseeing the financial aid process including communicating with families about the process, answering parent questions, reviewing applications, awarding initial financial aid package, and updating financial system with award amounts.
• Assisting in the collections process for tuition, including ensuring that families have set up payment plans, monitoring compliance with payment plans, and developing and implementing solutions for collections.
• Monitoring and tracking receivables using QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets. Generating award letters and other communications to parents using Microsoft Word merge function. Preparing and providing relevant reporting as needed to the VP of Finance and the President.

This is a salaried, full-time position that will require occasional evening and weekend hours for parent meetings. Benefits are provided including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, pension plan, vacation time, and sick time.

Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, customer service focus, high level of confidentiality, ability to manage difficult parent situations, an advanced experience level with Excel, a high level of attention to detail, a minimum of 5 years consistent working experience, and clear FBI/BCI background check. Prior work with QuickBooks, experience with monitoring and collecting receivables, and prior experience working in a school system are desirable.
