Aquinas College’s Provost Search Committee invites nominations and applications for the position of Executive Vice President and Provost.
The Provost oversees the management and budget of the academic enterprise and student affairs. As Dean of the Faculty, the Provost determines faculty appointments, oversees faculty development, and serves as a bridge between the faculty and the administration.
Aquinas College seeks a person with a strong track record of successful teaching and scholarship, along with demonstrated experience and effectiveness in academic administration. An earned doctorate is required. The ability to advance the College’s Catholic Dominican mission is an essential component of the position.
Aquinas College, an inclusive educational community in the Catholic Dominican Tradition provides a liberal arts education with a global perspective to 2,200 traditional age and adult students. Within this liberal arts tradition, there is an emphasis on career preparation, community service, and fostering a just and sustainable global community. While Aquinas is primarily an undergraduate institution, master’s degrees are offered in management, sustainability and education.
