The Executive Assistant is responsible for senior level support of the Associate General Secretary/General Counsel, as well as the Associate General Secretary’s connection with the work of the Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty. This includes secretarial and administrative support, basic research and drafting. This position coordinates the Office of General Counsel support staff activities, and oversight of the administration of the National Diocesan Attorneys Association, and Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty. This position is responsible for preparing budgets and expenditures for the various groups.

Requirements: Extensive, proven experience in project and meeting/convention planning and coordination; Association management or related background in planning and working with executive boards and members; Strong writing and editing skills; Flexibility in working effectively either independently or collaboratively as circumstances warrant in meeting deadlines and achieving goals; Experience that demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through; Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Management, Humanities or equivalent combination of college level coursework is preferred. Directly related experience, with 3-5 years of demonstrated professional experience is required. (140)
