EWTN To Air Special Episode of “Crossing the Goal” With Danny Abramowicz on March 14
March 13, 2009
IRONDALE, AL (MetroCatholic) – EWTN Global Catholic Network will air a special episode of “Crossing the Goal,” a popular television show for men, with Danny Abramowicz and his team, as they hit the road for the 12th Annual Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference. The resulting show, which was filmed live from St. Joan of Arc Parish in Powell, Ohio, will air from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET Saturday March 14.
The show, which normally airs 6:30 p.m. ET Sundays, 6:30 a.m. Mondays and 9 p.m. Fridays, uses a sports show format that plays off of Abramowicz’s past as a former NFL all-pro wide receiver and coach. During the Columbus Catholic Men’s Conference, the “Crossing the Goal” hosts challenge men with a game plan designed to get them off the sidelines and back into the fight for Truth, Faith and family – just as they do on their weekly show.
“We talk to men about the things that are happening in their lives right now and we challenge them to do something about it,” says Abramowicz. “Guys respond to a challenge. The Lord will help them, but they have to admit that something is not right in their life.”
“Crossing the Goal” co-hosts include Brain Patrick, whose “Son Rise Morning Show” can be heard on EWTN Radio; Curtin Martin, President and Founder of FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students; and Peter Herbeck, Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries and co-host of “The Choices We Face,” which airs on EWTN Television.
