The Archdiocese of Chicago is in the midst of the To Teach Who Christ Is capital fundraising campaign, a $350 million effort for parish needs, Catholic education and faith formation. The Archdiocese seeks nominations or applications for a newly created Donor Relations Coordinator position to assist the campaign effort.
The Donor Relations Coordinator is part of the campaign team and is responsible for organizing, planning, and implementing programs to properly cultivate and steward benefactors for the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign and the ministries it supports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, manage and implement cultivation, recognition and donor relations events designed to increase awareness and support for TTWCI.
Plan, manage and implement the Assembly of Catholic Professionals-Chicago, a personal networking group for the Archbishop of Chicago to engage with senior level Catholic business and professional leaders in Chicago.
- Plan, manage, and implement a membership campaign to invite participation in the Assembly of Catholic Professionals – Chicago.
- In consultation with other staff, plan and implement a quarterly luncheon series including a program of activities, recruiting speakers, Archbishop and Master of Ceremony taking points and other details.
- In consultation with other staff, plan and implement an annual Christmas party and other special events related to the Assembly of Catholic Professionals – Chicago.
Coordinate with other AOC staff in relation to current or potential donor special events.
Arrange and prepare event plans, budgets, scripts, schedules, printed material, contracts and publicity in consultation with the Campaign Manager, as needed.
Ensure major benefactors of the AOC are included in appropriate AOC events and are recognized for their service and generosity.
Coordinate with vendors, facilities personnel and others as needed.
Assist in establishing campaign donor cultivation and recognition policies and procedures.
