The Director of Student Activities and Leadership Development is responsible for student leadership development, first year orientation, campus social and educational programming, and oversight of Student Government, Campus Activities Board, and over 60 other clubs and organizations. The director is a vital member of the campus life, and contributes to the development of a vibrant co-curricular life within the context of the Catholic mission of the College.
Requirements: Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the College as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption College. Master’s degree in higher education or a related field. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in student activities or closely related field. Excellent communication skills and experience with supervision of professional staff. He/she must have experience supervising and/or advising students and/or student organizations, and demonstrated understanding of the value of co-curricular learning experiences. Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings.
