St. Paul’s Newman Center, the Catholic Community serving the University of Wyoming, is seeking a Director of Pastoral Ministries. The primary responsibility of this position is to work in collaboration with the Pastor, Director of Campus Ministry and Director of Pastoral Music in meeting the needs of our community for sacramental preparation, life-long faith formation and direct pastoral ministry. Applicants for this position should be dedicated to fostering community, promoting social justice and providing opportunities for faith development and enrichment through retreats, education, service and community building. Preferred education is a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Pastoral Ministry, Religious or Pastoral Studies, Theology or related field. Preferred skills are the ability to motivate and empower others, be well organized, lead/teach large and small groups, work well with diverse types of people, and be committed to the social teachings of the Church. This is a full-time position beginning July, 2013. Competitive salary includes benefits and will be based on education and experience.
