The Catholic Community of Manistee in Manistee, Michigan is a three-parish cluster of 1500 families seeking a collegial and organized Director of Music. Proficiency in organ and piano are necessary. Responsibilities include liturgical planning; directing, scheduling, and rehearsing all choirs; recruiting of music volunteers; organist/pianist at five weekend Masses, holy days, weekly school liturgies, funerals, weddings and some weekday parish Masses. Qualifications; practicing Roman Catholic, degree in music or related field preferred, understanding of GIRM and good interpersonal sklls. Must be able to start by June 8, 2013.
