The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal (Philadelphia, PA)
The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal (CAMM) in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving to develop and implement a dynamic program targeting achievement of fundraising goals for CAMM. This position will strive to promote the devotion of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and the mission and vision of CAMM through donor cultivation, major donor appeals and philanthropy aimed primarily towards individuals.
The position has the responsibility of identifying potential major donors and developing and nurturing relationships with current and new donors either in the local Catholic community, or within or outside of the United States. As a result, a minimum 25% travel is required in order to do this job effectively. Candidates should also be comfortable with using relevant fundraising, planned giving and donor cultivation software programs, technology and social media as a resource for identifying and contacting potential donors.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, reporting to the Senior Executive Director (SED) as part of the management team. The successful candidate will work directly with the SED to develop the program and set goals. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required with a minimum of ten years’ experience with a proven track record of soliciting major gifts, primarily in development and planned giving.
