DFW Catholic Publisher Secures New Corporate Headquarters
August 19, 2008
THE COLONY, TX (DFWCatholic.org) - MetroCatholic, Inc., publisher of DFW Catholic, recently secured space for its headquarters in The Colony, TX. MetroCatholic, which began as an online Catholic gift store one year ago has evolved into an up-and-coming Catholic publisher of electronic newspapers with the goal of launching websites in 29 markets over the next five years. The need for a centralized corporate headquarters stems from MetroCatholic’s addition of two key team members, Amber Dolle in the role of Media Director, and Neva Hernandez as Managing Editor of DFW Catholic. Amber works as a freelance writer for Catholic and pro-life publications, and serves as the media director for the national 40 Days for Life campaign. For the past three years she served as the media director for American Life League, a national pro-life organization based out of Virginia. Prior to that, she worked as outreach director for the Coalition for Life, a community-based pro-life organization dedicated to removing Planned Parenthood’s presence from Bryan/College Station, TX. Her work has been featured extensively in the media including stories on Fox News, MSNBC, ABC’s Nightline, Focus on the Family, Associated Press, and numerous statewide publications and news outlets. Neva earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Christendom College in Front Royal, VA and her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, MI. She has spent the last few years working as a freelance writer and editor.
