Guadalupe Radio Network (Midland, TX)
La Promesa Foundation, dba Guadalupe Radio Network, operates 21 Catholic Radio stations in Texas, New Mexico and Washington DC. We are seeking an experienced GRN Director of Development to focus on Major Gifts, Event Planning, Planned Giving, and the development & implementation of a vigorous program targeting the achievement of the GRN fundraising goals.
This position will strive to help spread the knowledge, love and practice of the Catholic Faith through all development activities that promote the mission of the GRN through donor cultivation, major donor appeals, special events, and philanthropy in the GRN’s Houston, Washington DC and San Antonio markets.
The position has the responsibility of identifying potential major donors, and in developing & nurturing relationships with donors in the three major GRN radio station markets. Therefore, a minimum amount of travel is required in order to do this job effectively. Candidates should also be knowledgeable with using technology and social media as a resource for identifying and contacting potential donors.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The successful candidate will work directly with the Vice President to develop programs and set goals. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with a minimum of five years’ experience, and with a proven track record of soliciting major gifts, primarily in development and planned giving.
