DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Fullness of Truth (Kingwood, TX)

Fullness of Truth Catholic Evangelization Ministries (“FoT”) in Kingwood, Texas (Houston suburb), is seeking a full-time Development Director to solicit one-time and regular gifts to financially support our evangelization efforts throughout Texas and the region. The Development Director will be primarily responsible for mining, cultivating, and building personal relationships with small and major donors for one-time and repeat giving, primarily through face-to-face visits, telephone calls, direct mail, social media, and personal email contact.

FoT’s Development Director must have the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:

•Strong understanding and knowledge of the Catholic faith
•An evangelist’s heart and understanding
•Two years fundraising, sales, or marketing experience, with at least some experience in (or at least familiarity with) charitable planned gifts and faith-based programs
•Confidence to develop and maintain relationships with people in all walks of life
•Detail oriented with excellent record keeping and reporting skills
•Energetic self starter
•Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
•Excellent computer, Internet, database, and social media skills
•Ability to create personalized cultivation letters and information packages and materials
•Ability to work under pressure and produce tangible results
•Ability to customize and personalize strategies for different types of donors.
•Ability and willingness to travel by car throughout Texas as needed
•Creativity to develop specific and focused fundraising campaigns
•Familiarity with grant writing and application process
•Flexibility to work the hours of the day that potential donors require
•Comfort with goal setting and accountability, including meeting Key Performance Indicators
•Ability and willingness to travel by car throughout Texas as needed
•Willingness to commit at least three years to the organization.

The Development Director, who along with our Conference Director will be one of the faces of our organization, will report to FoT’s Board of Directors.
